Open Door was created by students in the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Master of Occupational Therapy program in collaboration with LIFE/RUN Center for Independent Living and Hub City Access.  The purpose of this website is to provide individuals in Lubbock, Texas, a resource which describes the accessibility of different facilities in the community.  Physical and attitudinal barriers may take away or severely limit the choice of places that those living with disabilities and their loved ones can access. Therefore, this webpage serves as a valuable resource for our community.
